The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Satin Bred" takes the most recognizable colorway in the brand's history, black and red, and transforms its texture. The red panels are made of satin, which catches the light differently than standard leather: up close you can see a delicate sheen and the weave of the fabric, while from a distance the color looks deeper. The black elements have remained leather, so the shoe retains its shape in the heel and toe box. Topped off with a high-cut upper, the Wings logo on the ankle, and a rubber sole with the classic Jordan 1 pattern.

Fit and sizing

The Jordan 1 High is quite narrow and fits true to form, without extra room in the midfoot. Satin breaks in faster than stiff leather, so the first few days won’t require much wearing in, but it’s worth lacing them more loosely around the ankle at the start. The model is available in sizes 36 to 44.5, and if you are between two sizes, go for the larger one, as the high collar takes up a bit of space.
