BAPE, short for A Bathing Ape, is a Japanese label founded in Tokyo by Nigo. Since the 90s it has set the direction for streetwear with its unmistakable ABC camo, the ape head and fearless colours. Today it is one of the most collectible brands on the market.

The brand's biggest legend is the Shark Hoodie - a hoodie whose zip runs all the way up the front to form a shark's jaw. Alongside it you will find Ape Head print tees, camo tracksuits and Bapesta sneakers inspired by a classic basketball silhouette.

BAPE cuts fairly slim by European standards, which is why many people size up on hoodies and tees. If you like a looser, oversized effect, keep that in mind when choosing.
