"Stage Haze" plays with three muted colors: black, white, and gray, broken up by a delicate pink accent on the heel. It is the only bold element in the entire colorway and that is precisely why it works – from the front, the shoe looks almost monochromatic, revealing its character only from the back. The upper is made of leather complemented by suede panels, so you get two different textures in one pair: smooth, which reflects light, and matte, which absorbs it. The toe box is perforated for breathability, the winged "Wings" logo sits on the ankle, "Nike Air" branding is on the tongue, and cushioning is provided by an Air unit in the sole.

How to choose your size

The high-top upper wraps around the ankle and is noticeably stiff at first, which is standard for AJ1s – the leather breaks in after a few days, and only then does the shoe show its proper fit. This pair has the widest size range among our high-top Jordans: from 36 to 47, including half sizes like 36.5, 38.5, or 45.5, so it covers both smaller and larger feet. What to wear them with

Muted black with white and gray goes with practically everything you already have in your closet, so it's a good first AJ1 for someone who doesn't want to start with the most flashy colorway.
