Satin instead of all-leather

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Satin Shattered Backboard" differs from the regular "ones" in one way: some of the upper panels are made of satin, while the rest are leather. Satin interacts with light differently – the same panel can look deep orange one moment and muted the next, depending on the angle of the light. Orange is paired with black and white in a colorway that references Michael Jordan's famous "dunk." The silhouette remains classic: a high, structured upper, lacing that goes up over the ankle, and perforations on the toe box.

How to choose your size

We carry this model in sizes from 35.5 to 44.5, with half sizes in most of the range, so finding the right length is usually not a problem. The high upper provides ankle support and can feel stiff for the first few wears, especially when laced to the very last eyelet. Measure your foot in the evening when it is at its widest, and compare the result with the size chart.
