Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo T23 (2025) marks the return of one of the most recognizable and sought-after releases in the silhouette's history. The original 2011 version was created to celebrate the opening of the Jordan Tokyo 23 store in the Harajuku district. The 2025 edition features the key characteristics of the original, refreshed with updated materials and production techniques.
Distinctive Varsity Maize colorway and unique details
The upper in an intense Varsity Maize shade is combined with grey and black accents, creating a contrasting yet balanced overall look. A unique detail is the embroidered T23 logo on the lateral heel – an element that distinguishes this model from standard AJ5 versions. The silver 3M tongue and translucent side mesh highlight the original character of the design.
Construction true to the Air Jordan 5 series DNA
The model is based on the classic AJ5 silhouette with a high profile, a jagged midsole, and visible Nike Air cushioning in the heel. The rubber outsole with translucent inserts provides traction and abrasion resistance. The lacing system with a lace lock mechanism allows for a better fit and foot retention.
