What the word "Reimagined" changes

This version brings back the 1990 Black Metallic colorway, but constructed differently than the original: instead of nubuck, the upper is covered in genuine leather with a subtle sheen. The rest of the details remain in place – the 3M reflective element on the tongue, translucent side panels, red shark teeth on the midsole inspired by fighter jets, and the embroidered Nike Air logo on the heel, exactly like the first release. Underneath, an Air-Sole unit is at work, and a translucent outsole completes the whole look.

Sizing and fit

The Five has a high upper and a stiffer collar than lower Jordan models, so the first few days involve breaking in the leather around the ankle. The lacing reaches high, allowing you to precisely adjust the pressure on the instep. Sizes range from 36 to 47.5, though not every half-size is available in this range, so check the list of variants and insole lengths in the size guide before ordering.

How to wear them

The black and silver colorway is one of the easiest to incorporate into everyday outfits: it goes well with black pants, simple denim, and grey sweatpants, while the translucent sides and red accents provide enough detail for the rest of your outfit to remain understated.
