Air Jordan 5 Retro Olive 2024

Suede, mesh, and orange in one upper

The Air Jordan 5 Retro Olive 2024 is a mid-top silhouette where suede in a warm, olive shade plays the lead role. Mesh side panels provide ventilation and break up the solid construction, while grey details keep the whole look in check. Pops of orange appear on the sole and lace eyelets, making this pair visible from across the street. The midsole features an Air unit, so a day spent on your feet won't leave you with any complaints. The military heritage of olive is evident in the color, but the craftsmanship is collector-grade, not tactical.

Fit and sizing guide

The upper reaches mid-ankle, offering a more secure fit than low-top sneakers while still allowing for freedom of movement. Sizing ranges from 36 to 44.5, including half sizes, which gives flexibility to those who usually struggle between two sizes. After a few wears, the suede will mold to the shape of your foot, so any slight initial tightness in width will pass; an insole that is too short will not. Before choosing, compare your insole length with your own foot measurement in the size guide, and if you are between sizes, go for the larger one.

How to style them

Olive is more versatile than it seems: it pairs effortlessly with black, grey, beige, and raw denim. It looks best with trousers cropped or cuffed just enough to reveal the orange detailing on the sole.
