The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 Retro SP "Muslin" is a classic AJ5 silhouette deconstructed and reassembled by Virgil Abloh. The upper is built from ripstop mesh, which is semi-translucent – the material reveals the shoe's structure and elements hidden beneath leather on a standard Five. Signature Off-White cut-outs reveal underlying layers, the sole features a semi-translucent, muted vintage-style hue, and an Air unit works in the heel. The look is finished off with a signature red zip-tie and a dual lacing system, which changes the positioning of the tongue and tightens the base of the upper more securely.

Fit and sizing guide

The Air Jordan 5 features a mid-height upper with a high tongue and a fairly narrow toe box, so the shoe grips the midfoot more firmly than flatter silhouettes like the Air Force. The ripstop mesh is lighter and more pliable than leather, so it conforms to the shape of the foot faster, while the dual lacing allows for independent adjustment of pressure at the forefoot and ankle. We carry sizes from 36 to 47, but the size grid is not full – some half sizes are missing, so please first check if your size is on the list, then measure your foot in centimeters and compare it with our size chart. With a narrow toe box, this is more reliable than converting sizes from other brands.

How to style them

This pair works best when you want the shoe to be visible: a wider pant leg rolled up above the ankle, cargos, straight-cut joggers, or shorts in the summer.
