Air Jordan 5 Retro Dark Concord

White, purple, and mesh on the side of the upper

The Air Jordan 5 Retro Dark Concord is a white "Five" featuring purple details in the Dark Concord shade. The upper is crafted from premium leather in a mid-top construction, but the most interesting feature here is the mesh side panels embedded into the midfoot: they reduce weight and provide real ventilation for the foot, which makes a clear difference in summer compared to models made entirely of leather. Purple accents appear sparingly on the details and the sole, where it sits alongside translucent inserts, making the bottom look completely different under light than it does on the shelf. Cushioning is provided by an Air unit hidden in the midsole.

Size and fit

The Five has plenty of room in the forefoot and a looser collar than the Four, so most people stick to their standard size. The size range here is unusually wide, from 35.5 to 45, meaning the pair covers both women's and men's sizing. For those with a low instep, tightening the laces more firmly halfway up works better than sizing down by half a number. Let your measured foot size and the size chart be your reference point, rather than a size remembered from another brand. We accept returns within 14 days, with return shipping costs covered by the buyer.

How to style and care for them

White leather with purple sets the style on its own: just add black or gray around it and at most one item in a similar shade. The mid-cut upper means the model looks great peeking out from under rolled-up jeans and doesn't get lost under a wide leg, which can be an issue with lower-cut silhouettes. The mesh panels prefer a dry brush rather than water, and it's best to keep the translucent parts of the sole away from prolonged sun exposure, as that is what harms them most. You can find other versions of this silhouette in the Air Jordan 5 shoes, a wider selection of models in the Air Jordan collection, and the entire brand shelf in the Nike shoes section. We check every pair before listing—the box, product code, stitching, gluing, and sole—we do not sell replicas.
