The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Off-White Pine Green is a version of a classic where color does half the work. The leather upper comes in a deep bottle green, with white details appearing only where they provide contrast. Green in such an intensity rarely appears on this silhouette, which is why this pair looks different from the standard white Air Force 1s off the shelf.
Virgil Abloh's signature
Virgil Abloh didn't redesign the silhouette; he revealed the way it’s made. Hence the double lacing, the zip-tie on the laces, and the side Off-White branding. The sole is translucent with an aggressive tread and hand-painted accents, so no two pairs look identical.
Mid, or higher than low
The Mid version features an ankle-high upper. It holds the foot more securely than the low version and sits differently against the leg: it looks better with shorter-cut trousers than with wide-leg bottoms. A visible Air unit in the sole is responsible for cushioning.
