The Yeezy Foam Runner "Stone Taupe" is a uniform version of the model: no marbling, no contrasts, in a warm beige with a hint of grey, closer to wet sand than clean ash. The shoe is created as a single molded piece of EVA foam infused with algae, so it has no lining, seams, or laces, and slips on in one motion. The sculpted shape with large cutouts is more than just the model's design, as these openings dissipate heat so your foot doesn't boil in the heat like it would in a closed sneaker. The solid color has one more advantage: dust and sand are less visible on it than on lighter versions.

What size to choose

In a shoe without laces, there's nothing to tighten, so the size determines everything. The sizing scale is sparse: 37, 38, and 39, followed by jumps to 40.5, 42, 43, 44.5, 46, 47, and 48.5. If your size falls in a gap, it makes more sense to size up, because the foam won't stretch with wear, and a little extra room in this model is the norm, not a flaw. Measure your foot and compare it with the size chart. If something doesn't fit, you can take advantage of a return within 14 days by sending the pair back at your own expense.

How to wear them

This shade of beige is effectively neutral, so it works wherever black might be too heavy. It looks best in tone-on-tone outfits: cream-colored sweatpants, sand-colored cargo pants, a white t-shirt. It also works as a shoe for a quick errand or for wearing around the house, as you can put them on without bending over. For a wider, shorter trouser leg, choose a thicker sock, because the contrast of textures does more here than a contrast of colors.
