The Clay Taupe version of the Foam RNR has no lining, seams, or lacing. The entire shoe is molded from EVA foam with added algae, meaning the sole and upper are a single unit, and the weight of a pair drops to a level where it’s easy to forget you're wearing anything at all. The color is an earthy beige with a grey undertone, closer to dry clay than sand. The large, irregular openings on the sides and toe are not just for decoration: they are responsible for air circulation and ensure your foot doesn’t overheat in hot weather.

Sizing that works differently

We carry this model in sizes 37, 38, 39, 40.5, 42, 43, 44.5, 46, and 47, so the scale is less dense than in classic sneakers, and there is a larger jump between consecutive numbers. The foam doesn't stretch like knit, but it gives slightly after a few days of wear. If you are debating between two available sizes and have a high instep, take the larger one, as the rigid construction will not forgive a tight fit. When and how to wear them

This is a shoe for the warmer months, for city wear on a day off, for a quick errand, or for the beach—not for rain and mud. They look best with shorts or with your pant cuffs rolled up above the ankle, as that reveals the entire sculpted silhouette.
