Two layers instead of one

Sacai builds this model on the principle of doubling: the VaporWaffle features two tongues, two sets of laces, and two Swoosh logos layered on top of each other. In the "Tour Yellow" version, the upper combines suede, leather, and textiles in a yellow-green palette, so the layers are visible not only in the construction but also in the color—each panel stands out from the next instead of blending in. Underneath, a double foam midsole sits on a rubber outsole, and the interior is finished with a textile lining.

Fit and sizing

This is a running silhouette dressed up for lifestyle: narrow in the midfoot, with a raised heel and a high sole that visually lengthens the foot. The collar is low and quite rigid, so the shoe fits snugly around the ankle before loosening up. Available sizes start at 37.5 and go up to 46, with half sizes in most of the range, which helps if your foot falls between sizes. For a wider midfoot, it is safer to go up half a size—extra length is easier to handle than lateral pressure.
