Three names on one shoe
The Nike Blazer Low sacai KAWS Red is a meeting of three different design approaches. Sacai is responsible for the layered construction, KAWS for the graphic signature, and Nike for the silhouette that has existed since the seventies. The premium red leather upper ties it all together.
What catches the eye most is the doubling effect. The shoe features two tongues, two pairs of laces, and two Swoosh logos—one white, one orange. This is a hallmark of the Nike x sacai collaboration and the reason this Blazer looks as if it were assembled from two pairs.
KAWS signature
The signature "XX" crosses, which KAWS uses to mark his designs, are featured on the sole. The detail is subtle, only visible up close or when the shoe is placed on its side. The layered sacai sole elevates the entire silhouette more noticeably than on a standard Blazer.
