The Dunk Low "Medium Curry" is a version where all the work is done by the material and hue, rather than graphics. The upper is made of suede, kept in a warm range of beige and brown, while the Swoosh and laces are a shade darker, so the logo is visible but understated. A light rubber sole completes the look, and the interior is finished with a textile lining. Suede in this color has the advantage of aging gracefully: minor scuffs and changes in texture look worn-in, not worn-out.

Fit and sizing

The Dunk Low sits low at the ankle and has a rather narrow vamp, which is why wider feet often feel better half a size up. Suede breaks in faster than smooth leather, but it does not stretch indefinitely, so buying a full size too small in the hope that it will "stretch out" will end in a return. Curry goes well with an earthy palette: khaki, dark brown, navy, raw denim.
