The Yeezy 700 V3 "Mono Safflower" is built around a cream-colored base with subtle yellow accents—hence the name, which refers to safflower dye. The upper features breathable mesh encased in a semi-transparent TPU cage that acts as an external skeleton for the shoe: it provides structure, creates the characteristic ribs on the sides, and glows in the dark thanks to its glow-in-the-dark finish. Instead of Boost, the sole uses lightweight EVA foam, so the pair weighs less than its bulky silhouette suggests, and the rubber outsole with a herringbone tread performs well on wet surfaces. This is one of the more futuristic silhouettes in the Yeezy 700 family.

How to choose your size

Available sizes range from 36 to 46, in the typical Adidas 1/3 and 2/3 increments. The upper is tight and contoured around the midfoot, which makes a half-size difference clearly noticeable. Measure your foot length in centimeters and compare it with our size chart instead of copying the number from shoes of another brand. What to wear them with

The cream base is lighter than most everyday sets, so the shoe itself becomes the first thing people notice. It works best with simple, dark pants—black sweatpants, gray cargo pants, navy jeans—when the rest of the outfit takes a backseat. You can echo the yellow accent with a small accessory, such as a cap or a bag strap, but you don't have to: the monochromatic version looks calmer.
