Transition from copper to brown

The Yeezy 700 V3 "Copper Fade" features a dense mesh upper where the color transitions smoothly from a saturated copper at the toe to a dark brown at the heel. It is one long gradient without a sharp border, so the shoe looks slightly different from every angle. A TPU cage is overlaid on the mesh: rigid ribs wrap the midfoot, replacing classic panels and holding the structure in place. Some elements are reflective and light up under headlights after dark. Underfoot, EVA foam is used instead of Boost, making the pair lighter than it looks, with a firmer and more responsive step; the bottom is covered with rubber in high-wear areas. The V3 also has a distinctly slimmer silhouette than previous 700s - the shape is lower and narrower, closer to a running shoe than a chunky dad shoe.

Sizing and fit

The size run goes from 36 to 46 ⅔ in Adidas third-increment sizing - 36 2/3, 37 ⅓, 38 2/3, 39 1/3 and so on - and it is not continuous: there is nothing between 39 1/3 and 41 ⅓. If you usually wear a 40, this model requires a conscious decision in one direction or the other rather than a reflex, so measure your foot and compare the result with the size chart. The mesh provides a bit of room in terms of width, but it won't make up for length. The TPU cage stiffens the midfoot and the shoe sits more securely than knit models without reinforcements, but it is less forgiving for very high insteps.

How to wear them

The copper gradient acts as the only strong accent in the outfit, so the rest can remain neutral: black or graphite trousers with a slight excess of length so the hem falls onto the upper, and a top without patterns. The reflective details come alive in the evening and in flash photography.
