TPU cage instead of a standard upper

The Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown departs from everything associated with the previous 700s. The mesh upper is encased in a translucent TPU cage, which both reinforces the shoe and creates its design—up close, you can see the material underneath. The palette is a dark brown with black accents, industrial and matte, broken only by reflective details. The midsole does not feature Boost: the V3 sits on lightweight EVA foam, making it springier in its rebound and less bulky than the silhouette suggests. The interior is lined with neoprene.

Fit and sizing

The neoprene lining allows the foot to slide in like a sock, and the lacing closes the upper rather than providing real support—hence the snug feeling in the midfoot, which takes some getting used to. The sizing follows the fractional Adidas scale from 36 to 46 ⅔, though not every size in this range is available; the current list can be seen when selecting a size. Before ordering, measure the length of your foot and compare it with the size chart, because Adidas fractions are not the same as half-sizes.

How to wear them

Brown and black are colors that disappear effortlessly into a winter wardrobe: black technical trousers, wide corduroys, khaki, or a cream tracksuit.
