The Patta x Air Max 1 Rush Maroon is a take on the iconic Nike silhouette featuring a signature element from the Dutch brand Patta: the wavy mudguard, a rippled overlay that runs along the side of the shoe instead of the straight-cut line found on the original. The upper combines three materials—maroon suede, leather, and mesh—with the overall look broken up by cream and silver accents. The Swoosh on the side has a metallic finish, catching the light instead of blending into the maroon. Patta branding appears on the tongue and the insole, spots that are only visible up close. The sole houses an Air Max unit, the same cushioning construction that built the reputation of the entire Air Max 1 line.
