Black leather and one bold detail

The Nike Air Force 1 Low SP AMBUSH "Black" features the same construction as the colorful versions of the collaboration, but reduced to a single shade. A deep black leather upper, black rubber sole, and muted finish – the only contrast here is the elongated Swoosh, which extends beyond the classic outline and draws the eye along the shoe. The AMBUSH logo is embossed on the heel. The Air cushioning provides comfort, while the rubber outsole ensures traction. The design comes from Yoon Ahn and reflects her way of thinking: a classic shifted by one strong detail, making the model recognizable from across the street despite its completely minimalist palette.

Fit and sizing

The Air Force 1 has a wide, full fit and a stiff leather upper that adapts to the foot during the first few days of wear. You should generally stick to your standard sports shoe size, or go half a size down if you have narrow feet. The available range is 35.5 to 46, with half sizes available across most of the scale. The most reliable method is to measure your foot and compare the centimeters with the size chart instead of transferring a size from another shoe model. Black is visually forgiving, but not in terms of sizing – leather that is too tight in this model will not give way.

How to wear it

A black Air Force 1 is the safest shoe in your wardrobe and at the same time the easiest to waste. It works in monochrome – black on black, where the Swoosh becomes the only drawing in the entire outfit – and just as well as an anchor for a light outfit with cream trousers or a grey sweatshirt. A straight or slightly wider cut of trousers will show off the upper, while a narrow one will trim it.
