The Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low Mushroom is a grey, monochrome version of the icon, designed by the artist together with Nike. The muted grey and soft nubuck texture feel calm and natural - exactly the register Billie Eilish brings to her projects.
The Air Force 1 was the first basketball shoe with Air cushioning (1982) - thick upper, perforated toe and a swappable lace dubrae. Here the upper uses nubuck and mixed materials with recycled content, while foam and rubber handle cushioning.
