The New Balance 725 Black Grey White is a silhouette pulled from the brand's running archives and brought to the pavement. The upper is built from breathable mesh overlaid with synthetic panels in grey and white - the layers overlap in a stepped pattern, making the shoe look more substantial from the side than a typical modern sneaker. Black keeps the whole design in check and prevents it from looking cluttered. The silver N logo and reflective details light up under headlights, which was a hallmark of early 2000s running shoes. Inside the midsole is ABZORB, a cushioning system New Balance has used for years to absorb shock upon heel strike.
