The New Balance 550 grew out of 80s court shoes, and the Marquette version dresses it in the colors of the Marquette Golden Eagles team: a white leather upper, navy blue panels, and gold accents in the details. The leather is smooth, with perforations in the forefoot that ventilate the shoe while also organizing this rather compact shape. The large "N" on the side is stitched, not printed, so the edges of the logo maintain their shape even after a season of wear. The interior is finished with textile, and the rubber sole features a classic basketball tread pattern with a low, flat profile. Fit and sizing
