Air Jordan 4 Retro Messy Room

Where does this color come from and what is it made of

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Messy Room is one of the most talked-about colorways of the 4s. Intense blue meets white, red, and subtle yellow accents, and the color scheme is intentionally disordered - hence the name. The upper combines leather, suede, and colorful canvas panels, so each zone of the shoe reflects light differently and wears differently. Contrasting stitching and asymmetric details do the rest: the left and right shoes are not mirror images of each other.

Construction beneath the layer of color

Underneath sits a classic 4: a mid-height upper, plastic wings at the lacing, mesh side panels, and a rubber sole with an Air unit in the heel. It is a silhouette originally designed for the hardwood, so it supports the foot well for all-day wear, and the mesh saves the day in a shoe that has quite a few layers of material on it. Canvas is lighter than leather, but it absorbs water faster, so for a wet day, it's better to choose something else.

How to choose the size

The Jordan 4 tapers in the midfoot and has a stiffer collar than most modern sneakers. If you have a wide foot, it is worth loosening the top eyelets instead of looking for a larger size. We have this model exclusively in sizes from 36 to 40, which is in the lower part of the scale - for a larger foot, this colorway will not fit you. Measure your foot in centimeters and compare it with the size chart, because designations can differ even between models of the same brand.

What to wear them with

With this much color, the rest of the outfit should take a step back: raw denim, a gray sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, or possibly one blue element to tie it all together. For PLN 1299, you get a pair that in itself is a starting point for an outfit, not an accessory. You can find neighboring colorways among Air Jordan 4, more broadly in Air Jordan shoes, and in the entire footwear department. We check every pair before listing - the box, product code, stitching, gluing, sole - and we do not sell replicas.
