Union LA on the 4s: what exactly has been changed

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Union Taupe Haze was created in collaboration with Union LA and changes more about the classic 4 than meets the eye. The upper is covered in premium suede in an earthy taupe shade, with accents of beige, black, and light blue, and the traditional mesh panels have been replaced with solid material. The tongue can be cut to reveal the layer underneath - this is an intentional design feature, not a defect, and some people choose to wear this pair in exactly that version. Union LA branding and a raw, outdoor aesthetic distinguish this model from standard retros.

Sizing and fit

The available size range is from 38 to 46. Suede behaves differently than smooth leather: it molds to the foot faster, but it does not stretch in width, so buying half a size smaller "because it will break in" usually ends badly. A standard size is a safe choice here, and if you are between two sizes, measure your foot and check the size chart.
