Air Jordan 13 Retro Del Sol

What this pair is made of

The Air Jordan 13 Retro Del Sol maintains the well-known layout of the Thirteens but distributes colors in its own unique way. The upper is made of white, perforated leather, the side panels feature a yellow Del Sol shade, and black finishes round out the design to keep the shoe from looking too milky. There is a holographic emblem on the heel and a Jumpman logo on the tongue. Full-length Zoom Air cushioning is hidden in the sole, and the rubber bottom features a tread pattern modeled after a panther's paw, divided into soft segments.

How they fit

The collar extends past the ankle and is thickly padded, while the midfoot is clearly contoured, so the shoe holds the foot more securely than a flat sneaker. The perforation on the upper helps on warmer days, but aside from that, it is still a leather construction that needs a few wears to break in. Thirteens are generally true to size; if you wear thick socks, go up half a size. Sizes ranging from 40 to 46 are available, with some half sizes - compare your measurement with our size guide before ordering, and if you are wavering between two sizes, contact us using the FAQ.

When yellow really works

The yellow panel is the only flashy element, so it works best in outfits built on black, navy, and gray: simple trousers, a loose sweatshirt, or a dark jacket. In the summer, knee-length shorts look great because the entire side of the shoe is exposed, highlighting the contrast of the panels. If you prefer a calmer version of the same silhouette, you will find it in the Air Jordan 13 collection, and a wider selection of the brand's models awaits in our Air Jordan shoes section.
