The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low "Pure Violet" is a low-top version of the 11, featuring pastel violet broken up by white panels. The signature patent leather strip, which wraps around the entire upper on the high model, runs lower here, giving the shoe a lighter, more summery look. The outsole details are translucent in an icy blue shade, breaking up the candy-colored scheme so the whole look doesn't become too sweet. The midsole houses an Air unit, so underneath the calm appearance lies the same cushioning as in the high-top version.

Sizing: what the low-top construction changes

The Low fits just as narrowly as the high 11, only leaving the ankle free. The patent leather strip hardly stretches, so if you have a wide midfoot, go half a size up. This pair ranges from 35.5 to 44.5, with half sizes 36.5, 37.5, 38.5, 40.5, 42.5, and 44.5, so you'll find it in both the lower and higher range. The simplest way: measure your foot in centimeters and compare it with the size chart instead of guessing based on the number from another model.

What to wear them with

This shade of violet is calm enough to be treated as a neutral color with a single accent.
