Air Jordan 11 Retro DMP Gratitude (2023)

White, gold, and patent leather trim

The 2023 Air Jordan 11 Retro DMP "Gratitude" is an all-white Eleven with patent leather trim and gold accents, which serve as the standout feature here. The DMP abbreviation stands for Defining Moments Pack, a line in which Jordan revisits the most iconic moments of Michael Jordan's career, hence the use of gold instead of the usual silver or black. Underneath, an Air unit works within the midsole, complemented by a translucent, icy blue outsole. The combination of white and patent leather looks great but requires attention on the street: it's worth having a cloth handy and storing the pair away from light, as the translucent rubber tends to darken over time.

Size and fit

The Eleven is narrow with a high-cut ankle, and the patent leather trim has almost no give in terms of width, so for wider feet, going up half a size usually solves the issue. The size range here is exceptionally broad, from 36 all the way up to 47 including half sizes, making it easier to find your fit compared to limited runs. Prices start at 1499 PLN and increase for rarer sizes, as those sell out first. Before deciding, check the insole length in the size guide.

How to wear them

The white Eleven with gold accents is more versatile than it might seem. The safest pairing is black trousers with a black or cream top, allowing the gold to remain the only bold accent. A bolder version involves an all-white and beige ensemble, where the shoe completes the look rather than standing out from it. Since the model has a high-cut ankle, your trousers don't need to be long: a shorter hem reveals the patent leather and the entire silhouette of the upper.
