How the CMPCT differs from the regular 350 V2

The Adidas Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Carbon" is a streamlined take on the 350 silhouette. The Primeknit upper is uniform, kept in a dominant dark grey tone with carbon details that break it up just enough so the shoe doesn't look like a flat patch of color. The CMPCT construction features a streamlined finish around the ankle, so the foot slips in like a sock, and the upper adds less "bulk" to the leg than the classic 350 V2. Underneath, it's powered by a Boost sole - the same cushioning that makes this model a go-to for all-day wear, not just a one-off outing.

How they fit and what size to order

Primeknit stretches in width and molds to the shape of the foot after a few wears, so the shoe doesn't require breaking in. However, the 350 silhouette is narrow in the midfoot and shorter in the toe box than a typical sneaker, so if you have wide feet or a high instep, it's safer to go up half a size. Adidas uses thirds for sizing, and we have a full range from 36 to 52 2/3, so you can usually find an intermediate size instead of rounding up. What to wear them with

Grey and carbon is one of the easiest colors in the entire line: it doesn't clash with the rest of your outfit and works anywhere black feels too heavy.
