Suede, recycled canvas, and DWR coating

The Lowmel is a low-top UGG shoe built from two materials at once: suede and recycled canvas, finished with a water-repellent DWR coating. It is this coating that causes autumn drizzle to roll off the upper instead of soaking into the suede within the first minute of your walk. Hickory is a warm, muted brown, one of the brand's most recognizable shades. The interior is lined with UGGplush along with a recycled material lining, so the shoe keeps you warm without the need for thick socks. Underneath, there is a lightweight EVA foam platform and a SugarSole outsole, responsible for traction on wet pavement. It has the silhouette of a sneaker but the insulation of a winter boot. The price is 1299 PLN in every size.

How to choose your size

The shoe is available in sizes 36-42. UGG models with fleece lining may feel tighter at first than they really are because the lining has not yet settled. After a few days of wear, it compresses by a few millimeters, giving the foot more space. If you are between two sizes and wear thin socks, take the smaller one. For thick, winter socks, choose the larger one. Instead of copying the size from another brand, measure your foot and compare the result with the size chart.

What to wear them with

Hickory pairs well with beige, khaki, grey, and denim, so the simplest outfit is straight jeans or wide cotton trousers and a thick sweater. The Lowmel can be a sensible change from classic sneakers when the weather is no longer favorable for them, but it is too early for heavy winter boots.
