Nike SB Dunk Low Run The Jewels

Where did this shoe come from and what is it made of

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Run The Jewels” was created in collaboration with the hip-hop duo of the same name. The upper combines suede with nubuck in a bold, Active Pink shade, while the Swooshes are done in navy blue – this combination is the only reason why this model can be recognized from across the street. The details are perfected: gold Run The Jewels logos on the insoles and individual tags with RTJ branding. Underneath is a semi-translucent rubber sole, and inside is Zoom Air cushioning – an element that distinguishes the SB line from the regular Dunk and absorbs impact when skateboarding.

Fit and sizing

Dunks from the SB line have a thicker, padded tongue and more material in the upper than lifestyle versions, so the shoe fits more securely, but also tighter on the instep. For a standard foot, stick to your usual size; for a high instep or wide midfoot, consider going half a size up. Sizes range from 36 to 46, and you can check the insole length in centimeters in the size chart – it's faster than guessing based on another pair from your closet.

How to wear them

Pink with navy blue is a ready-made focal point for an outfit, so the rest should take a backseat. Black or gray straight-cut trousers, a white t-shirt, or possibly a navy hoodie to tie in the color of the Swoosh.
