Nike SB Dunk Low City Of Love Light Bone

Suede layers and translucent textile

The Nike SB Dunk Low City Of Love Light Bone is a skate Dunk rendered in shades of ivory and beige. The upper combines suede with a translucent textile, allowing the overlapping panels to show through each other and create a depth that a regular monochromatic pair lacks. The insoles feature motifs of clasped hands and feathers, the Swoosh has a shimmering finish, and the remaining details stick tonally to a single color family. Comfort is provided by Zoom Air cushioning, a standard in the SB line, while the translucent outsole with a subtle aged effect gives the pair a worn-in look right from day one.

Fit and sizing

The SB line features a thicker tongue and fuller padding than a standard Dunk, which provides a tighter feel in the instep at the same size. The Zoom Air insole lifts the foot slightly, so your foot sits higher than in the classic version. The size range is wide, from 36 to 46, including half sizes in the middle range. For a wide foot or a thicker sock, it is worth going up a half size, and the insole length from the size guide should serve as your point of reference.

How to style them

Light bone and beige are the easiest base possible: they go well with faded denim, grey, brown, and military green. Since the palette is muted, the pair handles a bolder top well, such as a patterned sweater or a brightly colored jacket. Look for other offerings from this line among Nike Dunk SB shoes, and the entire silhouette family resides in the Nike Dunk section. It is worth cleaning the light suede with a brush from time to time, as ivory does not forgive dust.
