The Nike Dunk High Retro WMNS "Aluminum" is a high-top Dunk in a version that doesn't scream for attention. The leather upper is white, while pastel blue returns on the Swoosh and the laces, which are color-matched to the same shade. The white midsole transitions into a light blue outsole, so the color encompasses the shoe from both sides and doesn't remain just a decoration on the flank. Inside, there is a textile lining, and the collar is padded enough for the shoe to settle comfortably around the ankle right away. The "Aluminum" in the name refers to the color here, not the material: it's a cool, faded blue that behaves quite differently than bold navy accents.

Sizes and fit

The available range is from 36 to 44, with half sizes 36.5, 37.5, 38.5, 40.5, and 42.5. The grid skips 37, 39.5, 41.5, and 43.5, so if you wear one of those, go for the next size up. The high collar makes the shoe feel tighter than a low Dunk in the same size, although the length is the same. The surest way is to measure your foot and check the size chart. What to wear them with

Pastel on white works best with the rest of the outfit being light: cream-colored pants, a gray tracksuit, a white t-shirt.
