Cortez is one of the oldest silhouettes in the Nike catalog – a 1972 running model that quickly transitioned from the track to the streets, where it has stayed ever since. The 2025 "Valentine’s Day" edition leaves the proportions untouched but changes everything visible from two meters away: a leather upper in a combination of white, pink, and red, a red Swoosh stretching along the entire side, and heart motifs in the details. The silhouette remains low and narrow, so the color carries the whole concept, and the shoe still reads as a Cortez, not as a one-night costume.
