New Balance 9060 Moonbeam Sea Salt

The genesis of the futuristic 9060 silhouette

The New Balance 9060 series draws inspiration from the archival 860v2 running shoes and the iconic 99x line, creating a bulkier yet fluid silhouette that looks like a design transported from the future. The extended platform and asymmetric sole lines evoke a Y2K aesthetic while simultaneously meeting modern requirements for lateral stability. The model debuted in 2022, and its bold design almost immediately achieved must-have status in the world of streetwear.

Moonbeam Sea Salt colorway

The Moonbeam palette is a slightly cool beige with a hint of gray that meets the creamy Sea Salt base, giving the shoes an unobtrusive, luxurious flair. Subtle tonal transitions highlight the multi-layered construction of the upper and allow the pair to harmonize with denim, monochromatic tracksuits, or elegant wool trousers. Muted colors balance the futuristic silhouette, ensuring the sneaker stands out through its form rather than flashy colors.

Premium materials and construction

The upper combines soft short-haired suede with dense technical mesh, guaranteeing breathability without losing structural support. The tonal "N" logo is backed by a TPU layer that stabilizes lateral movements, while the microfiber lining reduces heel slip and increases comfort on warmer days. The whole assembly is set on a dual-foam sole, whose geometric contours give the design artistic depth.

ABZORB + SBS cushioning and daily comfort

A dual layer of ABZORB works in the forefoot, absorbing impact energy and returning it during toe-off, while SBS capsules are placed under the heel to provide a soft, springy step. The wide platform stabilizes the ankle joint, and NDurance rubber panels at key points on the sole increase abrasion resistance, extending the shoe's lifespan in urban conditions. Thanks to these solutions, the pair remains lightweight while being foot-friendly during long hours of wear. See also other New Balance shoes and a wider selection of footwear in our offer.
