Matte black without a single print

MSC shorts in solid, matte black. There is no print on the outside; the only markings are a subtle embroidery on the side of the leg and a tonal label on the inside. The material is French Terry with a breathable loop-back interior: it has a thick feel but is breathable, so it also works on warmer days. An addition of polyester keeps the knit resilient and shortens drying time, which is important if you wear them for training and not just around the house. The waistband is elastic, with a drawstring that actually adjusts the fit instead of just hanging there for decoration.

How they fit and which size to choose

The sizing includes XS, S, M, L, and XL. The drawstring in the waist offers a wide range of adjustment, so if you are wavering between two sizes and have a similar waist circumference, the smaller one is usually sufficient. It is worth choosing the larger one if you prefer a looser, longer leg. Measure your waist and hip circumference, then check where you fall in the size guide, as the letter alone can be misleading when comparing brands.

Black is a background player here: it doesn't clash with anything you wear on top. It matches a T-shirt with a bold graphic, a white tee, or a colored hoodie.
