Labubu × Ma.K. – Micropanzers in the Spirit of Maschinen Krieger
This limited series combines the iconic silhouette of Labubu with the aesthetic of Kowa Yokoyama's Maschinen Krieger universe. Each of the 12 regular figures (plus a secret chase ≈ 1:144) features armor inspired by SAFS suits, Fireball SG, or Grosser Hund, with hand-applied signs of wear and tear: airbrush shading, scratches, oil and rust streaks. The semi-matte vinyl contrasts with the transparent helmet visors revealing Labubu's classic smile, while injection-molded accessories – rail-gun rifles, conduits, and jetpacks – complete the project's military-sci-fi DNA. The blind-box in the form of a futuristic crate adds an element of surprise, and a full display transforms into a service hangar straight out of a Ma.K. diorama.
Premium Weathering and Functional Articulation
The figures (8–10 cm) utilize hand-painting techniques: airbrush, wash, and dry-brush, ensuring that each piece has a unique pattern of scratches and chips. In selected variants, the heads and arms remain movable, allowing for posing with interchangeable accessories. Tactical numbers and UV micro-prints are fade-resistant, and mass-dyed vinyl prevents paint scratches. The cardboard display with a foil-stamped cooperation year accommodates 12 blind-boxes and serves as a ready-made backdrop for a "mecha shelf," emphasizing the one-time nature of the drop.
