Air Jordan 3 Retro Fire Red (2022)

Return of the 1988 version

Fire Red is one of the original Air Jordan 3 colorways, and the 2022 release recreates it with details fans will spot immediately: a premium white leather upper, red accents, black and grey trim, and the "Elephant Print" panel on the toe and heel. Instead of the Jumpman logo on the heel, the "Nike Air" branding returns just like in the original; the Jumpman sits on the tongue. The upper is mid-cut, providing ankle support without restricting movement, while an Air unit in the sole provides cushioning.

Fit and sizing

The 3 is built wider than sleeker running silhouettes and features stiffer, thicker leather that takes a few days to break in around the foot. It can feel tight around the ankle at first—this is normal for this model and goes away. The size range here is exceptionally wide, from 35.5 to 46 including half sizes, so a pair can be found for both smaller and larger feet. Prices for specific variants range between 1399 and 1799 PLN. Before ordering, compare your foot length with the size chart, especially if you have previously only worn low-top models.

What to wear them with

The mid-cut upper pairs best with pants that sit on top of it rather than those that cover it—straight-leg jeans with a slight break or cuffed once. White and red are enough of an accent, so the rest of the outfit can be monochromatic.
