Where did this pattern come from

The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Barcelona Sweater” draws its theme from the outfit Michael Jordan wore during the 1992 Barcelona championships. Hence the abstract, colorful panels on the white upper – red, blue, and yellow arranged in irregular blocks, without a repeating rhythm. The upper is made of leather, so the pattern lies flat and does not ripple when flexed, and the outsole is translucent, which gives a lighter impression than regular opaque rubber against such a bright top. The collar is padded and the insole is cushioned – this is still a walking shoe, not just a decoration.

Fit and sizing

The Mid sits higher than the Low version but clearly lower than the High – the collar ends more or less at the ankle and does not restrict movement. The sizing is typical for "ones": most people take their standard Nike size, though for a wider foot, it is worth considering a half size up, as the leather at the front only stretches slightly. How to wear them

With so many colors on the shoe, the rest of your outfit should take a backseat. Safest bet: white or black straight-cut pants, a solid-colored sweatshirt, and at most one element in a color pulled from the panels – a red cap or a blue t-shirt is enough to complete the look. A shorter hem or a slight cuff shows off the entire pattern; with long pants covering them, the designer's work disappears under the fabric.
