Air Jordan 1 Low Jade Smoke

Green muted with grey

Jade Smoke is one of those Jordan 1 Low colorways that look grey from a distance, only revealing their green hue up close. The upper combines two materials: smooth leather on the panels and suede, which has a different depth of color and changes shades with the light. The Swoosh is green, the Wings logo sits above the ankle, and the white rubber sole features a green outsole. The entire palette sticks to earth tones, so the shoe is understated and won't clash with the rest of your outfit.

Sizing and break-in period

This pair ranges from 35.5 to 44.5, offering a wide selection with half sizes available for most of the range. The suede conforms to the foot faster than the leather itself, but the shoe can feel stiff over the toes during the first few wears, so it's worth giving it a few days. If you haven't bought Jordan 1s before, measure your foot and compare the result with the size chart instead of choosing a size based on another brand. Differences between manufacturers can be greater than they seem.

What it works with

Muted green works where a white sneaker would be too sharp: beige, brown, navy, khaki. For simple jeans and a grey sweatshirt, the shoe alone is enough; with an all-black outfit, it adds a touch of warmth. Suede doesn't like rain or salt, so it’s good to have a second pair in rotation for the autumn – you’ll find plenty of options in the Air Jordan collection and among the low-top 1 Low models. New deliveries appear in new arrivals.
