Primeknit, cage, and Boost foam

The Ultra Boost 1.0 in the Cream Chalk colorway is the first generation of the model, featuring the most knit-like upper in the entire family. The Primeknit wraps around the foot like a thick sock; there are no stiff seams, and the tongue is seamless, so nothing pinches the instep. The shape is held in place by a plastic stabilizer cage on the sides—it ensures the soft knit doesn't spread out while walking. The midsole is made of Boost foam, the same material the model owes its reputation to: responsive and noticeably different in feel than regular foam. The outsole is finished with Continental rubber, which is abrasion-resistant and provides grip on wet surfaces.

Adidas sizing and how to read it

Adidas numbers this model using a system with thirds, which is why you will see sizes like 40 ⅔, 41 ⅓, or 44 ⅔ instead of standard halves. The full range is from 40 to 46. Primeknit is flexible and conforms to the foot after a few wears, but the shoe doesn't get longer, so if you have a high instep, aim for the next size up. What to wear them with

Cream, or off-white, is easier to wear than pure white because it doesn't show every speck of dirt and pairs effortlessly with beiges, browns, and grays. They look best with pants featuring a slightly tapered leg that ends above the upper, as the knit should be visible. They also fit a sporty outfit, as this is still a shoe built around running foam.
