The Cow Print version of the Samba OG takes the most ubiquitous silhouette of recent seasons and covers it in a black-and-white pattern inspired by cowhide. The upper combines leather, textiles, and suede, giving the spots a varied texture that catches the light differently on the toe box than on the sides. The suede toe box and gold "Samba" lettering come straight from the archival version, so underneath the print lies the same shoe that started out as indoor footwear. The low profile and gum sole round off the design.

Fit and sizing

The Samba is narrow and flat, closer to a football boot than a running shoe, and the foot sits low to the ground. Those with a wide midfoot are usually better off going half a size up, especially if wearing thicker socks. The sizing is full, from 36 to 47 1/3, with half-sizes every one-third of a number, so you can get a precise fit rather than rounding up. Measure your foot in centimeters and compare the result with the size chart.

How to wear it

The pattern does all the work here, so the rest of your outfit can be plain—which is a plus: simple jeans with a slightly cuffed hem, black slacks, or a white t-shirt. The black and white contrast works with practically any palette, but it looks best in monochromatic sets where the shoe remains the only accent.
