The adidas Gazelle 85 Olive Strata is tonal throughout: a dusty, earthy olive covers the suede upper, the three stripes and the heel. The finish is matte and military, so the shoe slots into almost any fit without fighting for attention.
The 85 returns to original proportions - a narrower last, lower collar and thinner rubber sole than recent versions. Dense suede, stitching run close to the edge, and the gold foil sidewall signature kept faithful to the archive.
