Virgil Abloh x IKEA "KEEP OFF" is a cult piece from the MARKERAD series - the project that brought Off-White's quotation-mark typography into the home.
Description
Virgil Abloh x IKEA "KEEP OFF" is one of the most quoted objects in the whole MARKERAD collaboration. The quoted lettering - Abloh's signature device - is used against its own meaning: a "keep off" instruction printed on something made to be walked on. That design joke turned the series into a collector's item before it even launched.
Construction follows the original IKEA specification: a densely woven, low pile that handles traffic and vacuums easily, plus a stable backing that limits sliding. It comes in one fixed format, so measure the spot in your room in advance.
