Archival stability model from the early 2010s returns in a contrasting palette, combining white Airmesh with black panels and metallic Silver overlays. Energetic hits of purple—on the “river” logo, collar, and midsole—add a bold color-play accent to the silhouette, while reflective 3M™ strips on the toe and heel highlight its Y2K-runner heritage and improve visibility after dark. The layered upper utilizes a synthetic Support Frame and injected TPU reinforcements, stabilizing the midfoot without adding excess weight. A soft, padded collar supports comfort during longer runs, while a tonal TPU clip in shimmering silver stiffens the rearfoot, completing the techno-look of the entire silhouette.

Cushioning and stability technology in a Y2K palette

A ProGrid™ capsule (TPU + Hytrel®) works under the heel to dampen the initial impact, while full-length SSL EVA foam provides responsive, long-distance cushioning. A dual-density medial post and an Arch-Lock™ strap wrapping the arch limit moderate pronation without forcing artificial stiffness during the transition. The XT-900 outsole in high-wear areas, supported by Blown Rubber under the forefoot, guarantees grip and flexible toe-off, while Tri-Flex grooves facilitate natural midfoot motion. A drop of approximately 12 mm retains the classic geometry of stability trainers, and a removable Ortholite® insole with White / Black / Purple graphics and an antimicrobial coating enhances both utility and collector value.
