Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 “Starcow” – a Parisian nod to Y2K

This limited collaboration between Saucony and the Starcow Paris boutique brings the archival Omni 9 silhouette to the streets around Rue Saint-Honoré. The Spruce Green / Off-White / Stone Grey colorway references the shop’s green logo and the neutral hue of Parisian limestone. The upper is crafted from breathable 360° ecru mesh, overlaid with meaty spruce-green suede and synthetic TPU frames in satin silver. Discreet 3M™ inserts on the toe and heel enhance the retro-tech aesthetic of the early 2000s, while double stitching (ecru / green) acts as a Starcow signature, reinforcing the structure and adding a touch of artisanal flair.

ProGrid™ technology and archival stability in a stone palette

Under the heel sits a ProGrid™ capsule with Hytrel® to dampen initial impact, while full-length SSL EVA foam provides responsive support for long distances. A dual-density medial post paired with an Arch-Lock™ strap wrapping the arch controls moderate pronation during smooth transitions (drop ≈ 12 mm). The outsole combines XT-900 rubber in high-wear zones with Blown Rubber under the toes; Tri-Flex grooves improve traction and flexible take-offs on damp asphalt. Co-branded insoles feature a drawing of the Starcow facade, and the shoes come with two pairs of laces: spruce-green rope with a reflective thread, and cream-colored flat ones. A numbered hang-tag shaped like a Parisian street lamp (##/1200) and a stone-colored box with an embossed duo-logo complete this collector's package.
