Saucony Grid Ride Millennium "Black" – a return to Y2K stealth

The Grid Ride Millennium in "Triple Black" captures the spirit of the turn of the millennium, blending archival technology with a discreet stealth aesthetic. The upper is crafted from breathable 360° Airmesh, reinforced with injected TPU Support Frame panels; the entire design is kept in deep black, highlighted only by the tonal "river" logo and subtle 3M™ accents on the toe and heel. A softly padded collar reduces the risk of chafing during longer runs, while the external TPU heel clip enhances stability without adding weight.

GRID® cushioning, XT-600 grip, and collector's accents

A full-length GRID® system works in the rear of the sole – a TPU cage interacts with HRC foam to dampen the initial impact, while a full-length CMEVA layer provides the responsive, springy cushioning characteristic of shoes from the turn of 1999/2000. A drop of approximately 12 mm ensures a classic heel-to-toe transition, while the internal medial post provides support for moderate pronation. The XT-600 rubber outsole in high-wear areas, complemented by Blown Rubber under the forefoot, provides traction on asphalt, and flex grooves facilitate a flexible push-off. Two pairs of laces – black rope with reflective yarn and classic flat ones – allow you to customize the style, while a numbered hang-tag with the GRID logo adds to the model's collector value.
