The Rick Owens DRKSHDW x Dr. Martens 1460 Quad Sole Mega Lace Boot takes the canonical 1460 and pushes it through an avant-garde lens. Everything stays black, from upper to sole, so the exaggerated shape reads as one monolithic block.
Dr. Martens is the British subculture icon: leather upper, signature stitching and the AirWair air-cushioned sole. Here the base gains a quadruple rubber stack that lifts the boot dramatically, plus mega lacing that wraps far higher than on the classic. Leather holds the structure, rubber delivers grip and mass.
