The Rick Owens DRKSHDW x Converse TURBOWPN Low is one of the most recognisable results of the designer's work with Converse. The Black Cloud Cream execution plays on contrast: deep black across the upper meets cream details that highlight the exaggerated proportions of the sole unit.
Converse has been an American icon since 1908 - its vulcanised sole, rubber toe cap and canvas upper defined the everyday shoe, and the Chuck Taylor remains the most produced sneaker in history. TURBOWPN pushes that language into avant-garde territory with a leather upper, an elongated toe line and an expanded rubber sole built on the vulcanised tradition.
