Nike NOCTA Glide Drake Black

Where does this shape come from

The Nike NOCTA Glide "Black" is a shoe from the NOCTA line signed by Drake, built on a basketball silhouette that clearly references the Zoom Flight 95. The upper is made of mesh and reinforced with synthetic overlays in areas where the shoe undergoes the most stress. The entire design is kept in black with metallic accents, and the NOCTA logo is small and understated. Inside, it features Zoom Air, while the bottom is a rubber sole with an aggressive tread that grips wet asphalt noticeably better than the flat soles of typical lifestyle sneakers.

A cut closer to sports than everyday footwear

The mesh provides some slack in terms of width, and the shoe breaks in faster than leather silhouettes, but the ankle collar sits high, which you will feel during the first few days. The size range runs from 36 to 46, though not every half-size is available, so check the list when selecting your variant. If you are wavering between two sizes, measure your foot on a piece of paper and compare the result with our size guide instead of relying on the size from another brand's footwear.

What to wear them with

Black with metal accents is the easiest combination you can get: it works with black sweatpants, wide cargo pants, and straight-leg jeans, and the high upper pairs well with cropped or cuffed trousers. You can find the rest of this brand's silhouettes in the Nike Streetwear collection, browse all models in the shoes department, and the latest arrivals are gathered in our new arrivals section.
